Labia Reduction

The procedure for labia reduction takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and can be performed under either local or general anesthesia; the patient can be discharged from the clinic after about 4 hours. You should not expect severe pain, as this is a very gentle method of intimate surgery and you will be given sufficient pain medication.
To allow the wound to heal after the genital surgery, you should avoid exercise, saunas, and sitz baths for about 2 to 3 weeks.
